A board certified Emergency Medicine physician with subspecialty board certification in EMS (out-of-hospital medicine).  An Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and EMS at a major Midwest, academic medical center and award winning teacher and thought leader in EMS.  Active in local, regional and national EMS organizations and a sought after lecturer in Emergency Medicine and EMS topics.  Continues to publish in the peer reviewed literature on Emergency Medicine and EMS areas of interest.  Maintains an active Emergency Medicine clinical practice and over a decade of experience as an EMS Medical Director who routinely responds to 911 calls in the community. Provides medical supervision to approximately 900 EMS providers.
